Grace J. Eller

Grace J. Eller, 94, of Lincoln Way East, Mishawaka, passed away at 9:20 a.m. Monday in the Regency Rehabilitation Center, South Bend. She was born in St. Joseph County on May 11, 1903, and was a lifelong area resident.

 

On Aug. 2, 1924, in St. Joseph, Mich., as Grace J. Myers she married Gerald W. Eller, who preceded her in death on Dec. 18, 1980. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters and a grandson. She is survived by two daughters, Virginia Kames and Norma Wagley, both of Mishawaka; a son John J. Eller of Sebring, Fla.; five grandchildren, Pam Jozwiak, Kimberly Karnes, and Kevin Karnes of Mishawaka, James Wagley of Osceola and Linda Kujawski of Fayetteville, Ga.; and five great-grandchildren, Trisha Karnes of Granger, Courtney Karnes and Scott Karnes of Mishawaka, Tara Kujawski and Jennifer Kojawski of Fayetteville; and by two sisters, Ruth Parnell of Benton Harbor, Mich., and Catherine Myers of Mishawaka.

 

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Bubb Funeral Chapel North. Services will be at 10 a.m. today in the First Baptist Church, Mishawaka. Officiating will be Rev. David Miller and burial will be at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger.
