SOUTH BEND - Margaret Ann Ellis, 57, passed away from this life at 11:07 a.m. Wednesday, May 19, 2010, in Our Lady of Peace Hospital, Mishawaka, IN. She was born in South Bend, IN, on February 23, 1953, to J.D. Ellis and Roberta E. Love, who preceded her in death. Margaret is survived by her son, Dante Adrian Pates, and granddaughter, Meya "YaYa" Adrian Pates, both of South Bend, IN; sister, Brenda Louise (Ronald) Sprinkle of Columbus, OH; brother, LaDalle Richard Bates of South Bend, IN; and a special uncle, Willie Love of Benton Harbor, MI. She is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends, and a special friend, Margaret (Johnnie, JaNeisha) Boudreaux of Houston, TX. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 29, 2010, in the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St., South Bend, IN. Burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services.
