Alfred D. Eminger

MISHAWAKA - Memorial services for Alfred D. Eminger, 87, of Homewood Avenue, who died at 8:02 p.m. Wednesday in Countryside Place Nursing Home of natural causes, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in New Life Baptist Church, Osceola. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, LaGrange County, where American Legion Post 303 will conduct military services. There will be no visitation. Bubb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

 

Mr. Eminger was a sporting good representative for Robert Cary Co. of Ohio for 12 years, retiring in 1969. He also worked for South Bend Bait and Hodgman Rubber Co. of Framingham, Mass. He was born Oct. 10, 1908, in South Bend. Surviving are a friend, Francis Lewallen of South Bend; a son, A. Charles of Bryan, Ohio; three grandchildren; and a brother, Ross of Mishawaka. A daughter, Judith Ann Eminger, died in 1965.

 

He was a member of F & AM, Socttish Rite of South Bend, American Legion, and was a World War II Navy veteran.
