Mary Louise Endrody, 79, of Hamilton Grove Retirement Community, formerly of 3195 Williamsburg Ct., Apt. C., Mishawaka, died at 2:53 p.m. Tuesday in LaPorte County Hospital, LaPorte, Ind. Mrs. Endrody retired in 1988 as a sales clerk for E.H. Tepe Company after 11 years. She was born June 9, 1917, in Niles, Mich., and was a lifetime area resident.
On June 29, 1940, in South Bend, as Mary Louise Young, she married Andrew Endrody, who preceded her in death in 1962. She is survived by a daughter, Carol Endrody of New York City, N.Y.; a son, David Endrody of Wheaton, Ill.; two grandchildren, Laura and Andrew Endrody; and a sister, Helen Smith of South Bend. Mrs. Endrody was a member of Faith United Methodist Church and Order of Eastern Star.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St., with Rev. Don Shanks officiating. Burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith United Methodist Church.
