SOUTH BEND - Wilma R. Erick, 87, of
South Bend, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2008, in the home
of her son, Thomas. Wilma was born July 26, 1921, in South Bend
to George and Bessie (Lehman) Amick. She had been
employed with Clay Middle School, the former Ball Band, and the
H.D. Lee Company. On August 12, 1939, Wilma married Ralph
"Bud" Erick who preceded her in death on January 15,
1984. Surviving is her son, Thomas (Phyllis) Erick of South Bend;
grandchildren, Michelle (Warren) Feeheley of South Bend,
Todd (Danyel) Erick of Phoenix, Arizona; great-grandchildren,
Ryan, Kellie & Taylor Feeheley, Kaitlyn, Kassidy &
Kourtney Erick; great great-grandchildren, Emma & Seth
Feeheley; and sister-in-laws, Lois Crawford & Mary
Erick of South Bend. Sisters, Pearl Crawford, Ethel Karns,
Elva Bonfoy, Georgia Huffman; and brothers, Lou
& Fritz Amick all preceded her in death. Wilma was a lifetime
auxiliary member of the Clay Democratic Club
Funeral Services for Wilma will be held at 1 PM Friday, November 7, 2008, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, IN, where visitation will be held from 11 AM until the time of services. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, IN.
