Carl Ermeti

Carl Ermeti, 75, of West 14th Street, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away peacefully in his home on Wednesday, Dec. 1, with his wife next to him.

 

Carl was born on Sept. 24, 1929, in Mishawaka, to Frank and Rose (Alessandri) Ermeti. He was preceded in death by his father Frank on March 11, 1979, and by his brother Richard on Jan. 5, 2003.

 

On June 20, 1951, in Mishawaka, he married the former Rita J. Snyder, who survives. Also surviving are his mother, Rose Ermeti of Mishawaka; his five children, Lisa (Howard) Hull of Zionsville, Ind., Susan K. Ermeti, Sara Ermeti, Frank A. (Lori) Ermeti and Carl David Ermeti, all of Mishawaka; and one grandchild, Emily Hull of Zionsville.

 

Carl was a United States Army veteran, who served his country proudly during the Korean Conflict. He was the owner of 331 Inn Tavern for many years until his retirement in 1996. Carl was a member of DeAmici's Club in Mishawaka. He enjoyed and spent many hours on his boat and jet ski and just loved being on the water at their Diamond Lake Home. Carl loved life and loved being around people.

 

Family and friends may visit from 3 to 7 p.m. today, Dec. 3rd, in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th St., Mishawaka. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, in the Hahn Funeral Home.

 

Burial will follow at Bremen Cemetery.
