MISHAWAKA - Mildred M. Erne, 90, of Regency Place, South Bend, formerly of Mishawaka, died at 2:10 a.m. today in the nursing home. Mrs. Erne was born Nov. 26, 1903, in Whitley County, Ind., and lived in Mishawaka most of her life.

On Nov. 10, 1923, in Centreville, as Mildred M. Sharp, she married Walter V. Erne. He died Sept. 19, 1961. She is survived by a daughter, Janet Shutes of Mishawaka. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
