"Mrs. Hazel M. Ernsperger

 

     "Mrs. Hazel M. Ernsperger, 87, of 234 Murray, Roseland, died at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday in Memorial Hospital after a two-year illness.  She was born Nov. 16, 1889, in Plymouth and was a former resident of Plymouth.  She was a former clerical employee at the South Bend Osteopathic Hospital and was a member of the Spiritual Haven Church.  In 1920 she married John Southworth, who died in 1945.  In 1972 she was married to Raymond Ernsperger.  He died in 1974.  She is survived by two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

 

     Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Spiritual Haven Church with Pastor Alice Gentry officiating.  Burial will be in Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth.  Friends may call in the Johnson Funeral Home, Plymouth"

 

[Actually, Hazel was born in Boulder, Colorado, as she has stated on the "List Of United States Citizens (For The Immigration Authorities)" for the "Nieuw Amsterdam" arriving at the Port of New York sailing from Boulogne-sur-Mer, France in 1912. -- JRS]
