SOUTH BEND - Louise Esarey, nee Esther Louise Buss, born April 24, 1912, in South Bend, IN, passed away on August 16, 2010. Louise was a lifelong resident of South Bend until her health declined and she moved to Hamilton Grove Community, New Carlisle. Louise retired from The Tower Insurance in South Bend, and was a past president of the Indiana Insurance Women. She was a lifelong member of Grace United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Felix Esarey; her parents, Otto C. Buss and Bessie Klinghammer Buss; and by her brothers, John A. Buss and Frank O. Buss. She is survived by her nephews, Frank R. Buss (Jasmine Buss) and Jon L. Buss (Susie Buss), both of Rolling Prairie, Gary Buss (Carol Calliham,) Tampa, Florida; her niece, Vicki L. Buss (Marta Halter) of Columbia, MO; five great-nephews and one great-niece; eight great-great-nieces and nephews; and special friends, Sandy Spencer and Rosemary Klaer. Louise was a great fan of Notre Dame sports. Services will be Saturday, Aug. 21st, at 10:30 a.m. in McGann Hay Funerals | Cremations | Gatherings, Granger Chapel, 13260 SR 23 (enter off Cherry Road), with Rev. David Schrader, senior pastor of Grace United Methodist Church, officiating. Friends may call from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday prior to the services in the funeral home. Interment will be at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger.
