Mrs. Mary A. Evanovich

November 21, 1897 – February 26, 1970

Mrs. Mary A. Evanovich, 72, of 2015 S. Kendall St., died at 10am today at Memorial Hospital after a short illness.

She was born November 21, 1897, in Poland, and came to South Bend 50 years ago from Gary.  Her husband, Rade, died in 1959.  She is survived by three sons, Peter and Alex, both of South Bend, and Michael with the US Army in Formosa; three daughters, Mrs. Emery Chick, and Mrs. Fred Slater, both of South Bend, and Mrs. Clarence Brock, of Detroit; 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Friends may call from 7 to 9pm today and from 10am to 9pm Friday at the Zahoran Funeral Home.  She was a member of the St Ann Society of Our Lady of Hungary Church.  A rosary will be recited at 7:30pm today at the funeral home.  Funeral details are incomplete.
