Mrs. Floyd (Irene T.) Ewing       

Mrs. Irene T. Ewing, 59, 19165 S. Arthur St., died at 12:14 a.m. Sunday in St. Joseph's Medical Center after a brief illness.  She was born on March 21, 1924, in South Bend and was a lifetime area resident.  On Dec. 1, 1945, in South Bend, she married Floyd Ewing.  He survives along with a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Wheat, of South Bend; two sons, Floyd D. of Osceola and James of South Bend; three grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Rotge of Mishawak, Mrs. Rose Elli of Granger, Mrs. Frances Axnix of Moline, Ill., and Mrs. Dorothy Verduin of South Bend, and four brothers, Alex Orban of South Bend, Eugene Orban of Sturgis, Donald Orban of South Bend and Elmer Orban of Casopolis.
     Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Christ the King Catholic Church.  Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.  Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Zahoran Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be recited at 7:30.
