Dale L. Fager, 46, of West Battell Street, Mishawaka, Ind., died at 8:16 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3, after an apparent heart attack. He was born in South Bend, Ind., on Dec. 8, 1954, and was a lifetime area resident. Dale was preceded in death by his father, Roy Fager. Mr. Fager was employed as a truck driver at C C Midwest of Mishawaka.

He married the former Barbara Pickens in Elkhart, Ind., on July 10, 1981. She survives. He is also survived by his mother, Beverly Fager of Elkhart; a daughter, Tomeka Fager of Mishawaka; three sons, Dale R. (Melissa) Fager of South Bend, Ted (Sabrina) Fager of Elkhart and Derrick Fager of Mishawaka; six grandchildren, Aaron, Brandon, Savannah, Brandon Roy, Shawn and Christina; two sisters, Vicki Fager and Gayle Barker, both of Elkhart; and by three brothers, David (Kim) Fager and Robert Fager, both of Elkhart, and Garry (Kathy) Fager of Mishawaka.

Friends may call from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6, in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Tuesday, with Rev. Ervin Mize officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
