SOUTH BEND – Carolyn Fanti, seven-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Primo Fanti, 745 S. Carlisle Street, died in Bobs Roberts Memorial Hospital, Chicago, Sunday, after a five weeks illness. Born in South Bend Oct 1, 1948, she had lived here all her life. Surviving besides the parents are the paternal grandmother, Mrs. Palma Fanti, and the maternal grandmother, Mrs. Martha Sopczynski, both of South Bend.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the St. Joseph Funeral Chapel. The funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday in St. Adalbert’s Catholic Church, with Very Rev. Msgr. Ignatius J. Gapczynski, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Polish Cemetery.
