Frances Marie Farrell, 76, of Bercado Circle, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away at 3 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 20, in her residence.

She was born on Aug. 17, 1923, to the union of James and Gladys Doty in Decatur, Mich. Frances was a branch administrator for 1st Source Bank, retiring in 1988, after serving for 20 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mishawaka.

On June 7, 1941, as Frances Doty, she married Robert Joseph Farrell, Jr. in Mishawaka, Ind. He passed away on July 15, 1979. She was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Joseph Farrell III, who died on Oct. 5, 1995.

Frances is survived by three daughters, Carolyn Murphy of Mishawaka, Catherine Sarber of Elkhart, Ind., and Vicky Couch of Mishawaka; a son, William James Farrell, Sr. of Pierceton, Ind.; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law, Virginia Doty of Mishawaka and Gladys Choquette of South Bend, Ind.

Services will be at 10 a.m. on Monday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, where friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
