SOUTH BEND – Mary Farrell, 93,
of 1214 Marietta Street, died at 2:48 p.m. Saturday in Memorial
Hospital after an illness. She was born Oct. 25, 1893 in Berlin
and came to South Bend as a child.
In 1910, in South Bend, as Mary Geldner,
she married Frank Farrell, who died in 1952. Surviving are three
daughters, , Cecelia Gollatz of Bremen, Dorothy Tekker
of Osceola and Elaine DeNeve of Mishawaka; and three sons,
Roy of Elkhart, and Francis and Charles of South Bend. A son
William died in 1985.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Forest
G. Hay Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends
mat call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph
County.

In addition to those mentioned earlier she
is survived by eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren;
and one great-great-grandchild. Two daughters and two sons
preceded her in death.
