Richard Francis Farrell

SOUTH BEND – Richard Francis Farrell, 52, of 1214 Marietta Street, died at 6 a.m. Sunday in his home. He had been ill several months. An employee of Wheelabrator Corp. in Mishawaka the last nine years, he was born Oct. 3, 1911 in South Bend. He had lived his lifetime in the area. Mr. Farrell never married.

 

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Mary T. Farrell, of South Bend; four brothers, William O., Francis T. and Charles R., all of South Bend, and LeRoy of Elkhart, and four sisters, Mrs. Kenneth Gollatz  and Mrs. Stanley Burzynski, both of South Bend, Mrs. Joseph DeNeve of Mishawaka, and Mrs. George Tekker of Osceola.

 

Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the Orvis Funeral Home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with Rev. Edward W. Brueske D.D., pastor of Zion United Church of Christ officiating. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery. Mr. Farrell was a veteran of World War II.
