Betty L. Feingold "Momma Gypsy"

Dec. 9, 1942 - Dec. 26, 2009
SOUTH BEND - After a long bout with serious health problems, God ended Betty's suffering on December 26, 2009. She leaves behind a devoted husband of 43 years, Bernard; two birth sons, Bruce (Anita) and Jody Feingold; four grandchildren, Julian, Tristian, David and Joshua; one adopted son, Steve Walker, and his daughter, Allison; and twelve brothers and sisters. Betty was born in Mishawaka on December 9, 1942. She was adopted by Lester and Rose Bernhard and spent her life taking care of the sick and elderly of both sides of the family. She lived her life in South Bend, where she raised her family. The only thing she ever asked for was love and respect. Every one that knew mother knew she was special. She was trusting to a fault and would help anyone she could. She did what made her happy to the very end. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no service or viewing. A celebration of life will be held at a later date, to be announced. She was a person that made a difference in every life she touched, and words can not express how much she will be missed.
