Bessie M. Fejer

Bessie M. Fejer, 82, of the Whispering Pines Health Care Center, Valparaiso, Ind., formerly of Holly Court, South Bend, Ind., passed away on Sunday, Feb. 28, in the health care center. Bessie was formerly employed with the Atlas Restaurant Supply Company, South Bend, for 20 years. She was born on June 25, 1916, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Dominic and Teresa (Luciano) Principe, who preceded her in death. On Feb. 14, 1953, in Cleveland, she married Michael S. Fejer, who died on March 6, 1986. She was also preceded in death by a twin sister and five brothers: Roger, Joe, Pat, Mike and John Principe. She is survived by a son, Dominic M. (Cathy) Fejer of Valparaiso; two granddaughters, Kimberly and Lisa Fejer of Valparaiso; a sister, Antoniette Pellecchia of Lyndhurst, Ohio; and by a brother, Frank Principe of Penn Valley, Calif.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday in Christ the King Catholic Church, 52473 US 33 North, South Bend, where she was a member. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, Ind. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today in the Hickey Funeral Home, 17131 Cleveland Road, where a vigil service will be held at 4:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
