Mrs. Florence E. Fenska

July 15, 1909 – March 29, 1982

Mrs. Florence E. Fenska, 72, of 231 Rue Rabelais, died at 10:10am Monday in Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.

She was born on July 15, 1909, in Michigan City and had lived in the South Bend area for 52 years, coming from Michigan City.  On May 1, 1930, in Michigan City, she married Roger R. Fenska, who died in 1979.  Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Marinne Slott of Mishawaka and Mrs. Joan Stancati of South Bend; a son, Richard C. of Granger; four grandchildren; and a brother, Walter Lange of Michigan City.

Services will be at 11am Thursday in the Hilltop Lutheran Church, with Rev. Fred W. Pfotenhauer, pastor, officiating.  Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.  Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9pm Wednesday at Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.  She was a lifetime member of the Lutheran Church.
