Victoria D. Ference

December 5, 1903 – August 20, 1995

Victoria Dorothy Ference, 91, of Regency Place, formerly of West Ford Street, died at 8:30pm Sunday in the nursing home.

Mrs. Ference was born December 5, 1903, in Buffalo NY and lived in South Bend most of her life.  On September 5, 1931, in South Bend, as Victoria D. Cholasinski, she married John Ference.  He died October 27, 1977.  She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Allinger of South Bend; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and three sisters, Gladys Ewald, Harriet Pittman and Virginia Ziolkowski, all of South Bend.  She was a member of Torrington Retirees Club and Holy Family Catholic Church.

Services will be at 10am Thursday in the church.  Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery.  Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to  8pm Wednesday in St Joseph Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 7pm.
