SOUTH BEND - Charles O. Ferguson, 77, of Fairview Avenue, died at 8:40 a.m. Tuesday in Memorial Hospital. Mr. Ferguson was the former owner of Ferguson Equipment Co. He was born April 3, 1919, in Bonita, Texas.

On Sept. 9, 1943, he married Evelyn M. Young. She survives with a daughter, Sherri Burdue of Niles; two grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; a sister, Trixie Tyson of Costa Mesa, Calif.; and a brother, John of South Bend. He was a retired priest of New Apostolic Church, Mishawaka.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the church. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
