Conrad Ferrettie

Conrad Ferrettie, aged 68, of 715 West Third street, well know employee of the Mishawaka Rubber & Woolen Manufacturing company for the last 44 years, died at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in his home.  He had been ill for approximately one year.

Mr. Ferrettie was born June 12, 1874, in Italy and came here from Toronto, Canada, 44 years ago.  He was married to Miss Anna Kelley on May 17, 1898, in Toronto.  She survives.

Also surviving are two brothers, Matthew and Charles Ferrettie, both of Mishawaka; a daughter, Mrs. Bertha Richard of Edwardsburg, Mich.; a son, Melvin J. Ferrettie, at home; three sisters, Mrs. Felix De Cerq, Mrs. Elizabeth Gattie, both of Mishawaka, and Mrs. Katherine Foerter, of New Brunswick, N.J.

Friends may call at the residence from 7 p.m. today until the hour of the funeral services at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic church.  Services will be conducted by Rev. George Lauer, pastor of the church.  Burial will be in St. Joseph cemetery.

Mr. Ferrettie was a member of the Holy Name society, the Mishawaka council No. 1878, knights of Columbus, and the Foremen’s club of the Mishawaka Rubber & Woolen Manufacturing company.  Members of the Knights of Columbus will meet in the clubrooms, 212 Lincoln Way West, at 7:30 p.m. Friday and the Holy Name society will meet at 8 p.m. Friday in the Ferrettie residence.
