Eustachio Ferrettie

Eustachio Ferrettie, 87, of 208 W. 11th St., died at 2:20 a.m. today in the Veterans Administration Hospital, Indianapolis, after a brief illness.  He was born on April 3, 1895, in Piacenza, Italy, and moved here from Italy in 1913.  He was retired from Uniroyal in 1960, after 45 years of service.  He married Sabina Badagnani, and she died in 1927.  Survivors include a stepdaughter, Mrs. Clara Coffelt of South Bend; two nieces, Mrs. Edward Madou and Mrs. Ted Zieke of Mishawaka; and three nephews, Frank Spalazzi, and Henry and Arthur Ferrettie, all of Mishawaka.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Bavo’s Catholic Church.  Rev. Paul R. Beuter, pastor, will officiate, and burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.  Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Hahn’s DeVos Funeral Home where a wake service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m.  He was a World War I veteran and a member of the DeAmicis Club and the Eagles Mishawaka Aerie 2083.

 

Editor: After the death of his wife Sabina, he married Madeline DeRoo, who survives.
