Johanna Ferrettie

Mrs. Johanna Ferrettie, a well known resident of Mishawaka, died at 1:45 this morning at her home, 320 S. Spring Street, after an illness of over six years of complications. She was 61 years of age having been born August 4, 1853 in Italy.

 

She was united in marriage to her surviving husband Emilio Ferrettie, in her native country 40 years ago and came to America 10 years later. They lived in New Jersey for several years and 17 years ago came to Mishawaka for residence. Since then they have resided in this city. Mrs. Ferrettie is survived by three sons, Conrad, Matthew and Charles, besides three daughters, Forinda, Katherine, at home, Mrs. Harry Gatti, of Naugatuck, Conn., and Mrs. Daniel Rich, of Bridgeport, Conn. She also leaves a sister, Mrs. Nicholas Greene, in New Jersey, and four sisters and two brothers in Italy. Mrs. Ferrettie was a member of the Rosary Society of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Arrangements for the funeral have not yet been made.

The funeral of Mrs. Emilio Ferrettie will be held Monday morning from St. Joseph Catholic Church, and the Rev. Dean A. Moench will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. The body may be viewed at house until the time of the funeral.
