Raymond J. Ferrettie, 87, formerly of West Ninth Street, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away after an illness at 8:15 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 2, in Miller's Merry Manor, Walkerton, Ind.

Raymond was born on April 7, 1911, in Mishawaka, to the late Mathew and Elizabeth (Kelly) Ferrettie. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Florine E. Michele, on Oct. 8, 1990.

Raymond was a World War II veteran, and had been an employee of UniRoyal in Mishawaka for 43 years.

Services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 8, in the Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home, with Fr. Robert Yast officiating. Friends may visit one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Mishawaka.
