MISHAWAKA - Virginia M. Ferrettie, 74, of Ireland Road, died at 1:45 a.m. Sunday in Michiana Community Hospital, after an illness. Mrs. Ferrettie retired in 1976 from South Bend Glass after 25 years of service. She was born March 11, 1920, in Mishawaka, and was a lifelong resident. On April 30, 1950, in Mishawaka, as Virginia McMillan, she married Arthur N. Ferrettie. He survives with her stepmother, Lillian McMillan of South Bend; and two brothers, Richard McMillan of Annandale, Va., and Larry McMillan of Newark, N.J. She was a Navy (WAVES) veteran of World War II.
Service time will be announced at a later time. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Hahn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Service time is pending at the funeral home.
