MISHAWAKA - Mary L. Finn, 83, of Mishawaka, passed away
late Saturday evening, May 26, 2007, in St. Joseph Regional
Medical Center, South Bend. Mary was born June 13, 1923, in
Mishawaka, a daughter of the late Edmond and Zulma (Warniers)
DeMaegd. She was a homemaker and lived the majority of her
life in Mishawaka.
On January 25, 1967, Mary married Robert
Finn, and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in
death by six brothers, Arthur, Leon, Homer, Henry, Cyriel and
Floris DeMaegd; and a sister, Irene Smith. Mary's surviving
family includes her daughter, Sharon (Steve) Dishuck of
Colorado; sisters, Margaret Seeley of Florida and Alice
(Daniel) Hassan of South Bend; two brothers, Raymond
(Margaret) DeMaegd of Mishawaka and Julius (Lorna) DeMaegd of
South Bend; two grandchildren, Pamela and Brian; and a
great-grandchild, Kayla.
Friends may call today (Tuesday) from 5 to 7
p.m. in Thallemer, Goethals & Wells Funeral Home, 503 W.
Third Street, Mishawaka. Services will be held Wednesday at 2
p.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Erv Mize officiating. Burial
will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be
made to the Center for Hospice & Palliative Care.
