12, 1929 - Dec. 12, 2009LAKEVILLE - Rolland D. Fisher, 80, of Lakeville, IN, passed away at 1:00 a.m. Saturday, December 12, 2009, at Hospice House in South Bend. Rolland retired from the Holiday Rambler Corporation. He was born on May 12, 1929, in Lakeville, IN, to the late Vernon and Gladys (Ranstead) Fisher, and had lived in this area all of his life. On October 8, 1948, in South Bend, he married Lorraine D. (Gaskill) Fisher, who survives. Also surviving are four daughters, Mary Fisher, Elaine (Ron) Brown, Susan Fisher and Leslie Fisher, all of Lakeville; four sons, Jim (Cathy) Fisher of Nappanee, IN, Sam (Peggy) Fisher and Carl (Mindy) Fisher of Bremen, IN, and Vernon Fisher of Lakeville. There are 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Rosemary Willet of Lakeville and Marilyn Gerding of Mishawaka; and one brother, Junior Fisher of Plymouth, IN. Two grandchildren, Avery and Kamdin, one sister, Shirley Force, and four brothers, Foster, James, Carl and Donald Fisher preceded him in death. Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. today Dec. 14, in United Pentecostal Church of Walkerton, 1174 Lake Street, Walkerton, IN 46574. Rev. Arnold Smith will officiate. Friends may visit one hour prior to services. Contributions in memory of Rolland D.
