MISHAWAKA – Eugene Howard Fitzgerald, 88, died at 12:15pm Tuesday in VNA Hospice Center, Valparaiso.  He was born December 25, 1918, in Altoona PA, and lived in Mishawaka for over 50 years, coming from York PA.  On July 27, 1946, in Hagerstown MD, he married Rose Szekula, who preceded him in death August 18, 2004. 

There will be no services or visitation.  Cremation will take place at Welsheimer Crematory, with burial to follow at ST Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger.  Welsheimer Family Funeral Home, South Bend, is handling arrangements.
