Pamela Michelle "Pam" Fleming, 50, a resident of San Diego, Calif., for over 18 years, passed away after an illness on Thursday, Jan. 20, in Sharp Memorial Hospital. She was born on Nov. 17, 1949, in South Bend, Ind., to the late William H. Lloyd, Sr., and Katie Donaldson Lloyd, who survives.

On June 24, 1974, in South Bend, she married Charles Fleming, who preceded her in death on Dec. 13, 1976. She was also preceded in death by a brother, William Lloyd, Jr. She is survived by a loving mother, Mrs. Katie Lloyd of South Bend; three daughters, Marie Fleming of New York City, Jaquese M. Lloyd of St. Louis, Mo., and Luciana Fleming of Indianapolis, Ind.; two sons, Malone S. Lloyd of South Bend and Charles Fleming, III, of Atlanta, Ga.; two sisters, Dovie Townsend and Lenora Hams; three brothers, Stanley Lloyd, Mario Lloyd and Andre Lloyd; and by 10 grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Clark-O'Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday in the Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church, followed by burial at Highland Cemetery, South Bend. The Clark-O'Neal Funeral Home is entrusted with services.
