Ethel M. Flint, 97, of Vero Beach, Fla., formerly of South Bend, Ind., died after a brief illness on Sunday, Oct. 6, in Indian River Memorial Hospital.

She was born Feb. 11, 1905, in Bass Lake, Ind. She is survived by a son, Roger Flint of Vero Beach; a brother, Kenneth Doll of Wanatah, Ind.; and by three granddaughters, Jill Smith of Ada, Mich., Judith Graft of Dallas, Texas, and Janie Knutsen of Sparta, Mich.

She was a member of the Eastern Star, the Progress Club, and Westminster Presbyterian Church in South Bend.

Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 17033 Cleveland Road, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 18, with Rev. Daniel Clark officiating.
