John E. Flood

SOUTH BEND - John E. Flood, 65, of Viking Drive, died at 8:10 p.m. Tuesday in Memorial Hospital. Mr. Flood was founder and owner of Ellen Marie Draperies since 1960. He was born March 24, 1930, in Chicago.

On May 21, 1955, in Chicago, he married Lucille H. O'Connor. She survives with five daughters, Paula Flood and Jacque Reddy, both of South Bend, Ellen Van Arsdale of Granger, Mary Ann Green of Clarendon Hills, Ill., and Cathy Goodin of Mishawaka; and six grandchildren. He was a member of Knights of Columbus Santa Maria Council 553 and a veteran of the Korean War.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Christ the King Catholic Church. Cremation will take place. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today in Hickey Funeral Home, 17131 Cleveland Road.
