Catherine A. Floran, 73, of Beverly Place, South Bend, Ind., died at 3:28 p.m. on Sunday, July 20, in St. Joseph's Medical Center, South Bend. She was born on July 29, 1923, in Milwaukee, Wis.

She is survived by two daughters, Janice Archer of South Bend and Penny Crites of Mishawaka, Ind.; a son, David Floran of Valparaiso, Ind.; five grandchildren, Tracie Archer and Christopher Jarvis, both of South Bend, Karin Jarvis of Mishawaka, and Lisa and Julie Floran, both of Valparaiso; and by two brothers, Kenneth Fifer of Mishawaka and Thomas Fifer of South Bend.

Mrs. Floran was a retired binder for the Mossberg Printing Company. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.

Services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William Street, where friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
