MISHAWAKA - Susan Kay Flores (Ratajczak), 57, of
Mishawaka, passed away at home on Monday, September 29th. Susan
was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Stella Ratajczak.
She is survived by a sister, Sharon (Bob) Wirag of
Florida, and a brother, Paul (Kathy) Ratajczak of California; two
nephews, Brian Ratajczak and Darniel Wirag; and her beloved cat,
Gregory. Susan was a 1969 graduate of Washington High School and
earned her certification in Palm Springs, California, as a
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). She worked as a caring nurse in
Palm Springs, CA, Austin, TX, and in the Michiana area. Susan had
impeccable taste for fine art including crystal, antiques, ornate
bows and wreaths. Sue also had a gift with calligraphy, and had a
witty sense of humor. She was very fond of animals and loved her
cats. She will be missed dearly.
Friends may visit with the family from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Friday, October 10th, in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St. Mishawaka. A memorial service celebrating Susan's life will be held in the funeral chapel at 6:30 p.m.
