SOUTH BEND - Stephen Phillip Ford, 57, passed from this life on Saturday, July 24, 2010, after a long illness with kidney disease. He is survived by his wife, Jackie Ford; mother, Irene Ford; sisters, Laura Navarro of South Bend, Mary (David) Buff of Gainesville, FL, and Christine Ford of Pasadena, CA; stepdaughters, Kristi and Lauri; and numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Steve loved motorcycling with his buddies and they took extensive trips to Alaska, Hawaii and California. There will be no visitation, with cremation at Welsheimer Crematory. In Stephen's memory, contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Indiana, 911 E. 86th Street, Suite #100, Indianapolis, IN 46240.
