SOUTH BEND – Services for Katherine DeBlase Fotia, 74, of 1332 Mishawaka Avenue, who died at 11:10a.m. Thursday in the home of her daughter on 26th Street, will be at 9 a.m. Monday in St. Anthony de Pauda Catholic Church. Entombment will be in Highland Mausoleum. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc.

 

Mrs. Fotia was born Feb. 11, 1915 in Lake Geneva, Wis., and lived if South Bend most of her life. On Oct. 20, 1951, in South Bend, as Katherine DeBlase, she married Joseph R. Fotia. He died Jan. 2, 1983. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Pangallo of South Bend; two grandchildren; a sister, Santina DeBlase of Niles; and two brothers, Joseph DeBlase and Steve DeBlase, both of South Bend. She was an officer of Daughters of Isabella, and a member of the church, and was a volunteer for Camp Millhouse and the American Red Cross during the war.
