Mary Virginia Fox

SOUTH BEND - Mrs. Mary Virginia ''Momfox'' Fox, 95, Eastwood Dr., died Monday at 9:30 a.m. in Miller Merry Manor Nursing Home in Walkerton.

Mrs. Fox, born on Aug. 24, 1900 in Arlington, Ky. lived in Mound City, Ill. until the death of her husband. She then moved to South Bend at the request of her sister. Mary and her sister aquired and maintained numerous apartment homes, they sold them in the early 1970's. Mrs. Fox was the last remaining sibling of ten children.

She is survived by three of her four children, Cladice Dutoi, Phyllis Solomun and Ed Fox. Her daughter Edath Martino preceded her in death.

Also surviving are her grandchildren: Linda Petill, Gwen Golichowski, Debra Dance, William E. Goad, Janet Pustay, Carla Martino, Joan Tyler, Don, Richard and Ed Jordan, Mathew, Laura and Anita Fox, Bridget, Phillip, Christine and Michelle Jordan, Kim and Todd Pustay; ten great great grandchildren and three great, great, great grandchildren. A grandson Mike Jordan preceded Mary in death.

Mishler Funeral Home will be having a private viewing and memorial service.
