SOUTH BEND - Mrs. Theresa Fragomeni, 87, of 734 S. 23rd Street, died Friday night at the home of her son Vincent Fragomeni in Cassopolis after a brief illness. She was born April 5, 1896 in Italy and had lived in South Bend since 1939, coming from Niles, Oh. She had been an active businesswonan in the River Park area since 1945. As Trheresa Morabito on April 20, 1920, in Ardore, Supiorie, Reggio Calabria, Italy she married Domenico Fragomeni, who died in 1965. Surviving in addition to her son Vincent are three daughters, Mrs. Mary Lukes of Louisdville, Ky., Mrs. Helen Shuman of Fort Washington, Md. and Mrs Rosalie Ball of DeKalb, Ill.; another son, Joseph of South Bend; 20 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Anna Mule of Montreal, Canada.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony de Pauda Catholic Church and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hollis-Palmer Funeral Home, where a rosary service will be at 7:30 p.m. today.
