Catherine Fraser

July 22, 1905 – August 31, 1990

Services for Catherine Fraser, 85, of 52054 Ironwood Drive, who died at 11:20am Friday at Heartland Health Care Center, Jackson OH, will be at 1pm Tuesday in Bubb Funeral Chapel, 202 N. Main St.  Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm Monday in the funeral home.

Mrs. Fraser worked at Uniroyal for 12 years.  Born July 22, 1905, in Oak Hill OH, she had lived in this area since 1938, coming from Ohio.  In April 1949, in South Bend, as Catherine Williams, she married Lester Fraser, who died February 23, 1972.

Surviving are a daughter, Shirley Griffis of Beckley WV; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and two sisters, Florence Brisker o Jackson and Ruth Bennett of Hamden OH.  A son, John Howard Elcess Jr, died in 1965.  She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Mishawaka Eagles 2083.
