Mrs. Elizabeth Frey

Mrs. Elizabeth Frey, 84, of 1725 S. Scott St., died at 6:30 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph’s Hospital, after a four-week illness. She was born Aug. 19, 1887, in Hungary, and came here 60 years ago. She was married in St. Louis to Martin Frey, who preceded her in death. Surviving is a step-son, Martin Frey of South Bend; four daughters, Mrs. Julia Hadrick, Mrs. Frank Hagye and Mrs. Elizabeth Miano, all of South Bend, Mrs. Mary Angel of Toledo, Ohio; nine grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at 7 p.m. today in Zahoran Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited by the St. Ann’s Society of Our Lady of Hungary at 7:15 p.m. today in the funeral home.
