Anna Mae Furore

Anna M. Furore, 75, of Palmetto, Fla., formerly of Mishawaka, Ind., passed away Friday evening, May 21, in the Valley View Health Care Center in Elkhart, Ind. Anna was born to the late Rollin and Lillian (Kelley) Stoner on Jan. 29, 1929, in Mishawaka. Anna was employed at Dodge Manufacturing as an Office Clerk for thirty-one years. She was a member of the Queen of Peace Catholic Church, and also a member of the Moose Lodge #73 in Elkhart. On Oct. 1, 1977, she married Ross A. Furore, he preceded her in death on May 17, 1995.

 

Anna is survived by her two sons, James L. (Sue) Procaccino of Osceola, Ind., and Arthur J. (Donna) Procaccino, of Middlebury, Ind. She is also survived by five grandchildren and six great grandchildren, along with two sisters, Clara Carter, of Osceola and Lucille Hartman of Elkhart; and many nieces and nephews, especially Jim and Joan VanDusen, Pat and Al Skwierze, Rose Schundlt, Ann Alderson and John Hartman. Anna was preceded by five brothers, Francis Stoner, Jake Stoner, Arthur Stoner, Jim Stoner and Guy Stoner.

 

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka.

 

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 26 in the Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 4508 Vistula Rd., Mishawaka. Burial is to take place at the Fairview Cemetery in Mishawaka. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Elkhart County.
