Andrew C. Gadson, Jr.
Dec. 24, 1955 - April 26, 1998
Mr. Andrew Charles Gadson, Jr., 42,
beloved father, son and brother, of South Chicago Street, South
Bend, Ind., departed this life after a short illness at 11:13
p.m. on Sunday, April 26, in St. Joseph's Medical Center. Mr.
Gadson was born on Dec. 24, 1955, to the union of Mildred
Childress Gadson and Andrew C. Gadson in South Bend. He was
honorably discharged from the United States Air Force after
serving one year. He also worked for Rockwell Automation Dodge.
Mr. Gadson is survived by a son, Andrew Gadson; his parents,
Mildred and Andrew Gadson, Sr.; four sisters, Marilyn Dudley,
Denise Gadson, Diane Gadson and Michelle Gadson, all of South
Bend; five brothers, Darrell Gadson of Colorado Springs, Colo.,
Floyd Gadson of Flint, Mich., Gerald (Miranda) Gadson, Rodney
Gadson and Greg Gadson; paternal grandmother, Rosetta Gadson, all
of South Bend; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins,
nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on
Friday at St. Paul Bethel Baptist Church. Friends may call one
hour prior to services. Alford's Mortuary is in charge of
arrangements.
