SOUTH BEND - Alfred J. Ganss, 75, of Dale Avenue, died at 11:05 a.m. Thursday in St. Joseph's Medical Center. Mr. Ganss retired in 1980 from Uniroyal Plastics Co., Mishawaka, after 38 years of service. He was born March 5, 1921, in Mishawaka. In Mishawaka, he married Nelva Dawson. She died in 1982. He is survived by a son, Arthur of South Bend; and a sister, Cecilia Pastorino of Indianapolis.
There will no services or visitation. Cremation will take place. Hahn Funeral Home, Mishawaka, is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
