SOUTH BEND - Edward F. Gazler, 80, of 715 S. Illinois St., died at 10:20 p.m. Sunday in Michiana Community Hospital after an illness. Mr. Gazler retired from Mastic Corp. He was born May 22, 1913, in Michigan City and was a lifelong area resident.

On Nov. 8, 1947, in Michigan City, he married Margaret Schlinker. She survives with two sisters, Florence Newton and Irene Johnson, both of Michigan City; and two brothers, Raymond of Michigan City and Frank L. of Florida. He was a veteran of World War II.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph Funeral Home.
