Theresa L. Geraghty, 101, of Saint Joseph Care Center, formerly of East Fairview, passed away at 8:05 a.m. on Tuesday, July 22, in the Saint Joseph Care Center. She was born on May 6, 1902, in Fargo, N.D., to John and Mary (Knowl) Stowe, who preceded her in death. On July 21, 1919, in Moorehead, Minn., she married Thomas M. Geraghty, who passed away on July 2, 1965. She was also preceded in death by sons, Clyde Geraghty and Thomas Geraghty Jr.; a daughter, Ellen Nelson; and by a brother, Niles Stowe.

Theresa is survived by a daughter, Colleen Tonge of South Bend, Ind.; sons, John (Laverna) Geraghty of Plymouth, Ind., and Richard E. (Doris) Geraghty of Cassopolis, Mich.; and by 25 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren and 29 great-great-grandchildren.

She was a member of the Cathedral of St. Matthew.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 25, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 1827 E. Ireland Road. A Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 26, in the funeral home. Burial will be at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, Ind.
