Eldon E. Germann

July 11, 1921 - July 20, 1998

Eldon E. Germann, 77, of 303 S. Center Street, Bremen, Ind., passed away at 1 p.m. on Monday, July 20, at St. Joseph's Medical Center, South Bend, Ind.

Eldon was born on July 11, 1921, in St. Joseph County, Ind., to Earnest Walter Germann and Marie (Trachel) Germann.

Eldon was a lifelong resident of Bremen and retired from Germann Milk Hauling after 56 years of service. He was a member of the Hoosier Carnival Glass Club, the American Carnival Glass Club and the International Carnival Glass Club.

On July 20, 1941, he married June A. Manges in Bremen. She survives.

He is also survived by two daughters, Shirley (Don) Yarian of Bremen and Bonnie (Rob) Wallace of Mission Viejo, Calif.; a son, Ernie (Peggy) Germann of Nappanee, Ind.; a sister, Esther Gordon of Bremen; a brother, Walter (Georgia) Germann of Wyatt, Ind.; a granddaughter, Tona (Mike) Molebash and their children, Kayla Adams, Brock and Abe Molebash of Bremen; four grandsons, Chris Wallace of Mission Viejo, Calif., Brook (Shawn) Germann and their daughter Alexis of Nappanee, and Mark and Scott Germann, both of Nappanee.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Edna Grise.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 24, at the Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Mishler Funeral Home.
