Theodore J. Geyer (May 29, 1938 - Jan. 12, 1997).

Theodore J. ''Ted'' Geyer, 58, residing on Elmwood Ave., Mishawaka, Ind., passed away at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 12, at the Indiana University Medical Center, Indianapolis, Ind., after a brief illness.

Ted was self-employed as the owner/operator of Ted Geyer Construction Company. He was born on May 29, 1938, in St. Joseph County, Ind., to the late Roscoe C. and Emma Geyer, and was a lifelong area resident. On Dec. 22, 1962, in St. Joseph County, he married Sandra K. Blanchard, who survives.

He is also survived by three daughters, Becky Price and Chrisie Holmes, both of South Bend, Ind., and Lisa Lillemoen of Elkhart, Ind.; one sister, Miriam Nifong of Bremen, Ind.; two brothers, Roscoe J. Geyer of Sebring, Fla., and Keith Geyer of Mishawaka; and one half sister, Ada Marker of South Bend.

One brother, Donald J. Geyer, preceded Ted in death.

Ted was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mishawaka, and was a United States Army veteran.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 16, at the Hollis-Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend. Rev. Richard Laurick, CSC, will officiate. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Ind.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Hollis-Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home.
