Ugo Giacomini

MISHAWAKA – Ugo Giacomini, 75, of 1113 S. Main Street, died at 12:15 a.m. today in his home. He had been ill for the past three years. He had lived in Mishawaka 52 years coming here from Italy where he was born May 19, 1899.

 

He married Miss Adeline Allessi in Italy, Dec. 19, 1911. He had been employed by Ball Band for 43 years before he retired in 1954. Surviving are his widow; two sons, Ray Giacomoni of South Bend and Guerino Giscomini of Mishawaka; three daughters, Mrs. Herbert Bupp, Mrs. Everrett Ransberger and Mrs. Alfred Verbeke, all of Mishawaka, and 12 grandchildren.

 

Friends may call in the DeVosFuneral Chapel from Sunday morning until the funeral services at 9 a.m. Tuseday in St. Bavo’s Catholic Church. Rev. Stephen Cvangia, paster, will officiate and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Mr. Giacomini was a member of the DeAmicis Club. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday in St. Bavo’s Church.
