Mrs. June Gibbons

June 28, 1917 – December 31, 1972

Mrs. June Gibbons, 55, of Sarasota FL, and formerly of South Bend, died Sunday in Sarasota where she had resided for the last four years.

She was born June 28, 1917, in Petoskey MI.  She was a former supervisor for Host International in Indiana and California, and formerly owed the Flame Restaurant in Sarasota.  Her husband, Fred Gibbons, died in 1969.  Surviving are her mother, Mrs Tressa Golden; two daughters, Mrs. Nancy Swistek of Michigan City and Mrs. Mary Oliver of Sarasota; three grandchildren and a brother, Homer Golden of Florida.

Friends may call from 1 to 9pm (CST) Thursday in the Carlisle Funeral Home, Michigan City.  Services will be held at 1pm (CST) Friday in the funeral home.  Burial will be in ST Joseph Valley Memorial Park, South Bend.
