Brother Florian Gill CSC

Services for Brother Florian Gill CSC, 86, who died at Dujarie House, University of Notre Dame, will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday in St. Joseph Chapel at Holy Cross Brothers Center. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery at the Brothers Center. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Brothers Center Chapel, where a wake will be at 7:30 p.m.

 

Brother Gill was born May 31, 1902 in Sheboygan, Wis. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. He became a novice Fed, 1, 1930 and professed his vows in the Congregation of Holy Cross on Feb. 2, 1931. He served as farm manager at Sacred Heart College, Watertown, Wis.; St. Joseph Farm, Granger, Ind.; and St. Joseph Novitiate, Rolling Prairie, Ind.; and as grounds manager at Holy Cross Brothers Center
